Market Management Department: Destroyed more than 60 prohibited items

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, May 18, Nghe An Market Management Department destroyed more than 60 items including prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, expired goods, goods violating food safety and hygiene, intellectual property violations, and pirated publications.

This is the second destruction and the largest destruction since the beginning of the year, with the total value of the shipment being nearly 1 billion VND.

Destroy prohibited items

In addition to common items such as helmets, toothpaste, shampoos of all kinds, etc., this destruction batch includes a large amount of food, including many packaged foods produced abroad such as sausages, sodium cyclamate sugar, cookies, cakes and animal fats of unknown origin. Some products related to industrial waste (shampoo, cosmetics, printing ink, lubricants) will be preliminarily inspected before being transferred to the Green Environment Joint Stock Company in Hai Duong for processing according to the correct procedures, ensuring environmental hygiene.
