Nghe An Military School celebrates 43rd anniversary and receives Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, August 22, Nghe An Military School solemnly celebrated its 43rd anniversary and received the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal. Attending were Major General Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Major General Nguyen Dinh Minh - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4. On the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of the Provincial Military Command.

At the ceremony, Colonel Truong Thanh Hai - Principal of the school read a speech recalling the heroic tradition over 43 years of history. Since the beginning of 1965, in the face of the new situation, Nghe An Provincial Military Command has established the "Ba To Training Team", with the task of training and arranging grassroots cadres for the provincial armed forces and supporting the battlefields with the consistent ideology and slogan: "Towards the battlefield, towards combat, focusing on improving quality". On August 22, 1969, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army issued Directive No. 60/CT-TM "On perfecting the organization and enhancing the quality of the standing troops of Military Region 4". In which, the provincial military commands: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh all established a training team (Nghe An 25 people; Ha Tinh, Quang Binh 20 people/team). Since then, August 22 every year is considered the official traditional day of Nghe An Military School.



Welcome performance.

After nearly half a century of construction, fighting and growing up, with countless difficulties and hardships, Nghe An Military School has trained and fostered tens of thousands of cadres for the army and armed forces of Nghe An, trained thousands of reserve officers, more than 800 military command cadres at the commune level, a source of cadres in remote, isolated and border areas, and village nurses for Laos.

From 2004 to present, the School has organized 5 training courses for military commanders of communes, wards and towns with 481 students (of which courses 1 and 2 provide intermediate military training).

With the tradition of “Loyalty, creativity; good teaching, good learning; solidarity, discipline; quality, discipline; comprehensive strength”, the School has continuously overcome all difficulties to excellently complete its tasks. The School Party Committee has continuously achieved the title of exemplary Clean and Strong for many years; and has been awarded many noble awards by the Party, the State, the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region Command, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Military Command.



On behalf of the President, comrade Thai Van Hang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the school.



Colonel Bui Hoai Thanh, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, awarded a certificate of merit to Colonel Truong Thanh Hai - Principal of the Provincial Military School for his outstanding achievements in recent times.

On this occasion, on behalf of the President, Comrade Thai Van Hang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the school. Colonel Bui Hoai Thanh, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, on behalf of the Minister of National Defense, also awarded a certificate of merit to Colonel Truong Thanh Hai, Principal of the Provincial Military School for his outstanding achievements in the past time.
