Delegates were political commissars and deputy political commissars from grassroots units on the province's two border lines.

Over the past 5 years, political education work at grassroots units on the two border lines of the province has always closely followed the plan, firmly maintained the viewpoints, principles, goals and requirements of the Party's ideological work. The team of political cadres at border posts plays a core role in organizing and implementing political education work at the units. The units have actively innovated the form, content and measures of education...

However, according to the delegates' assessment, the Party Committees commanding some grassroots units in implementing the political education regulations lack specific measures, and in some places, they leave it entirely to political cadres, so the quality and effectiveness are not comprehensive, many contents are still following the old path, slow to innovate. The contents are still general, not specific; the level and pedagogical skills of some political cadres are limited, so the ability to convey persuasiveness is not high.

The conference also proposed directions for implementing the political education regulations for the 2012-2016 period. Each unit needs to have a specific plan to overcome limitations, continue to comprehensively innovate and synchronize the content, form and measures of political education at the unit. Focus on training and improving the quality and comprehensive capacity of the team of political teachers, especially professional skills, closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to improve the quality of political education in the Nghe An Border Guard; strengthen inspection work, invest in facilities and equipment for political education work at each border unit./.
