Hanoi continues to be the 6th most attractive destination in Asia.

This is the result of a poll conducted by readers of Smart Travel Asia online magazine in Hong Kong (China) for Hanoi as a travel destination.

In 2011, this magazine also ranked Hanoi as the 6th most attractive destination among the top 10 destinations in Asia.

On the morning of August 22nd, in Hanoi, representatives of the magazine presented certificates of the voting results to the leaders of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Along with Hanoi, the ancient town of Hoi An (Quang Nam) ranks 7th among the top 10 most attractive destinations in Asia. Bali, Indonesia, tops the list, followed by Phuket, Thailand.

With this title, Hanoi's tourism sector will have more opportunities to promote its destinations, enhance its standing, and continue building a more beautiful image of Hanoi in the eyes of domestic and international friends.
