(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, October 11, 2012, Vinh City Tax Department coordinated with the police, the city People's Procuracy, and the People's Committee of Le Loi Ward to enforce and seize assets of Joint Stock Company 757.

757 Joint Stock Company is headquartered at 161/1 Truong Chinh Street, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City. The reason for this unit's forced execution and asset seizure is that it did not comply with the debt notice and late payment penalty with a total amount of VND 2,455,320,445.

According to the representative of the Tax Department, 757 Joint Stock Company has been dragging its feet on tax arrears for many years, since 2009 it has owed nearly 1 billion VND. The City Tax Department has repeatedly issued notices, imposed fines for late tax payment, sent delegations to urge, issued enforcement notices and withdrawn money from the company's bank account, but the company still does not comply.

"We know that businesses are facing many difficulties at the moment. However, with the current situation, the tax sector will continue to use coercive measures and seize assets against enterprises with large arrears and deliberately delaying payment," said Mr. Vo Duy Duc - Deputy Head of Vinh City Tax Department.

This is the first time in Nghe An that the tax sector has organized enforcement and asset seizure against a business.
