Specifically, the Ministry recommends that the Ministry of Transport direct the Vietnam Register toMaleDo not inspect vehicles with diplomatic or foreign license plates with expired registration papers.

For its part, the Ministry of Public Security will conduct a general inspection nationwide and organize the issuance and change of license plates, and re-regulate the color of license plates for diplomatic vehicles and vehicles with foreign license plates to review and detect vehicles registered with diplomatic or foreign license plates but transferred to domestic organizations and individuals for use.

The Ministry of Public Security plans to spend a certain amount of time on propaganda and mobilization. After that, if domestic organizations and individuals using diplomatic and foreign vehicles do not voluntarily go to the competent authorities to complete procedures to revoke license plates and pay taxes according to regulations, the Ministry will direct professional units and local police to use professional measures to review and strictly handle violations.

On November 15, Phu Tho province will hold a public auction of cars with diplomatic and foreign license plates that have expired their temporary import period and were previously confiscated by Phu Tho police.
