Nghi Kim Commune (Vinh City): Mobilizing people's strength of about 15 billion VND to carry out new rural construction

(Baonghean.vn) -Nghi Kim commune implements new rural construction with specific actions: focusing on renewing many inter-hamlet roads with human and material resources of the people.

The Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune have assigned tasks to each hamlet to promote initiative and mobilize maximum resources from the people. Typically, hamlet 11 has 17 households contributing nearly 1,000m²residential land worth 6 billion VND to build roads. According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Nghi Kim commune: since the beginning of the year, the commune has mobilized labor and material resources from the people, estimated at over 15 billion VND. Many hamlets have built roads over 4 m wide, such as hamlets 11, 3, and 2, and built over 2.5 km of new drainage canals. In the coming time, the commune will continue to urge the construction of Nghi Kim - Nghi Van road, drainage canals, and the 3-storey office building of the commune People's Committee, with a total value of nearly 10 billion VND.
