(Baonghean.vn) -On November 1, 2012, Nghe An Provincial Police deployed a pilot operation of the traffic safety monitoring system on National Highway 1A to perfect the monitoring system model to suit application on traffic routes.

In the traffic safety monitoring system, there are 7 cameras installed in Quynh Luu district, Dien Chau district and Vinh city to record violations such as: speeding; driving in the wrong part of the road, lane; stopping, parking, avoiding, overtaking in violation of regulations; not obeying traffic light signals. Images of violating vehicles are transmitted to the Command Center located at Dien Chau Traffic Police Station; and automatically transmitted to computers installed on patrol cars of the Patrol Team on the road to warn, detect, stop, control and handle violating vehicles or handle based on images of violating vehicles.




Make a record of the violation.

After 1 day of deployment, the Traffic Police force of Nghe An Police has handled a number of violations such as driving in the wrong lane or road; not obeying traffic light signals. For violations during the patrol and control shift that have not stopped the vehicle for inspection and handling, the Traffic Police force of the Provincial Police will print the image of the violating vehicle, look up and verify, send a notice to the owner of the violating vehicle, request the Propaganda - Investigation Team to handle violations or the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station to handle./.
