Wastewater treatment technology at TH dairy farm
(Baonghean.vn) -TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company has invested in a concentrated dairy farm project in Nghia Lam and Nghia Son communes (Nghia Dan), one of the issues of concern is the wastewater treatment system and environmental protection.
Wastewater from TH farm has 2 sources: livestock wastewater (a mixture of water for cleaning barns, water for cooling cows, water for washing equipment and tools, wastewater from cleaning and disinfecting vehicles in and out of the farm...) and domestic wastewater (mainly from administrative areas, canteens, toilets...); All wastewater is treated through advanced technology of Aqua - Netherlands. Currently, the capacity of this system can clean up to 1,500 m3water/day, managed and operated by Dutch experts and technical staff of the Farm. All livestock and domestic wastewater is collected and treated in 3 stages: pre-treatment, biological treatment and fine treatment (chemical treatment). Wastewater after biological, chemical and disinfection treatment meets the GHCP of QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT column A and is licensed to discharge wastewater by the competent authority before being discharged into the receiving environment.
