Authorities arrest suspect for possessing nearly 30kg of fireworks.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 4 PM on January 18th, a task force from the Special Operations Team, PC 64 Department (Provincial Police) discovered and arrested Dao Thi Kiem (born in 1968, residing in Hop Xuan hamlet, Nghia Xuan commune, Quy Hop district) for illegally possessing firecrackers. They seized 431 large firecrackers (19kg) and 33 strings of small firecrackers (7.8kg), totaling 26.8kg of firecrackers.





The suspects and evidence.

According to initial investigations, the suspect Kiem confessed to buying the item from an unknown person for 15,900,000 VND. The case has now been handed over to the Quy Hop District Police for further investigation.
