(Baonghean.vn) - At 0:30 AM on February 18th, Mr. Nguyen Van Luong (born in 1978) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (born in 1980, both residing in Nghi Phu commune, Vinh City) were riding a motorbike from Cua Lo town towards Vinh City. Upon reaching Nghi Thach commune (Nghi Loc district), they were attacked by three young men on a motorbike (license plate unknown). Mr. Luong was slashed in the hand with a knife, sustaining minor injuries, and they were robbed of a mobile phone, a gold ring, a pair of gold earrings, and 2.2 million VND in cash, totaling approximately 6 million VND.

Currently, the professional departments of the Provincial Police and the Nghi Loc District Police are focusing on investigating and clarifying the matter.
