Gold slightly decreased, at 46.95 million VND

The domestic price of SJC gold this morning (December 11) decreased by 20,000 VND per tael compared to late yesterday afternoon, but is still nearly 4 million VND higher than the world price.

At 9:30 a.m., the buying price of SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City market was 46.80 million VND/tael and the selling price was 46.95 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the buying price of SJC gold in Hanoi is 46.87 million VND/tael and the selling price is 46.95 million VND/tael. The trading price of SJC gold at commercial banks such as Sacombank, Techcombank, Eximbank... also fluctuates from 46.82-46.95 million VND/tael (buying/selling).

Thus, after two trading days, price reduction is still the main trend of domestic gold prices. Previously, the SJC brand also had 3 consecutive weeks of price reduction and closed the previous day (December 10) at 46.97 million VND/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company is listing the price of Rong Thang Long gold at 43.25-43.50 million VND/tael, nearly 3.45 million VND/tael lower than SJC.

On the world market, the spot gold price on Kitco floor decreased slightly by nearly 4 USD/ounce compared to the previous session's close, currently fluctuating around 1,710 USD/ounce.

Converted at the Vietcombank commercial bank exchange rate of 20,860 VND/USD, this precious metal is equivalent to 43 million VND/tael, nearly 4 million VND lower than the domestic SJC brand.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, the average interbank exchange rate applied on December 11 was 20,828 VND/USD, unchanged since the beginning of the year. The ceiling exchange rate applied to commercial banks remained unchanged at 21,036 VND/USD.

This morning, commercial banks simultaneously listed the USD selling price at 20,860 VND/USD, down 5 VND/USD compared to yesterday, and the buying price was from 20,800-20,830 VND/USD.

Specifically, Vietcombank and BIDV both listed the USD exchange rate from 20,820-20,860 VND/USD. Vietinbank bought at 20,825 VND/USD and sold at 20,860 VND/USD, while Eximbank traded at 20,800-20,860 VND/USD./.
