Car driver fell asleep and crashed into truck, three people injured

(Baonghean.vn) -At 7:05 this morning (February 20), at km 411 + 100 of National Highway 1A, Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District, a serious traffic accident occurred between a 4-seat car and a truck, injuring 3 people in the car and the front of the car was completely crushed.

The driver of the car with license plate 51A 46342, from Quynh Luu (requested to be anonymous) said: I was driving in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh, carrying my wife and two children, preparing to cross Cam Bao bridge when I suddenly heard a "bang" and realized I had crashed into an oncoming truck with license plate 37S 46 32. At that moment, I was startled and realized I had fallen asleep.

Due to the strong collision, the front of the car was crushed and the front of the truck was damaged. Fortunately, the mother and her three children in the car only suffered minor injuries but were terrified. At that moment, the locals took the whole family to a roadside shop for temporary first aid.

Traffic police of Dien Chau district were also present to handle and investigate.
