Van Minh Tourism Company was awarded the Safe Transport Enterprise Award by the Ministry of Transport.

(Baonghean.vn) -On December 7, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Transport Trade Union held a ceremony to commend and award the "Safe Transport Enterprise" and "Safe Driving" awards in 2012. Van Minh Travel Company of Nghe An was one of 10 units nationwide to receive the award.

Attending the award ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep - Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hong Truong - Deputy Minister of Transport; Mr. Hoang Ngoc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Ta Dang Manh - Chairman of the Vietnam Transport Trade Union, along with representatives of the Traffic Police Department of the Delta and the Roads, trade unions, and local Transport Associations.

Implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Vietnam Transport Trade Union coordinated with the Office of the National Traffic Safety Committee and the Vietnam Automobile Transport Association to launch the emulation movement to build "Safe Transport Enterprises" and "Safe Driving" in the transport sector and the whole country, responding to the Traffic Safety Year 2012.

The campaign has attracted hundreds of agencies, transport enterprises and tens of thousands of drivers inside and outside the industry to respond. Transport units signed a competition agreement with the Vietnam Transport Trade Union. Along with that, 100% of drivers surveyed expressed their determination to support the Vietnam Transport Trade Union in implementing the campaign "Building a cultural traffic lifestyle", "no drinking and driving".

The transportation companies honored at the ceremony are excellent production and business units, leading in ensuring traffic safety. Van Minh Tourism Company, with the motto of operation: Running on time, on route, not picking up passengers along the way and strictly complying with traffic safety regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Dam Van - Director of Van Minh Travel Company said: "This is a valuable award from the National Traffic Safety Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The award is meant to encourage and motivate businesses and drivers to closely follow and perform their daily work well and better serve the passenger transport service on the Ha Tinh - Nghe An - Hanoi route!". In addition to the unit's traffic safety award, Van Minh Company also has a driver who was awarded the "Safe Driving" award in 2012.
