(Baonghean)On January 5th, the Crime Prevention Team of the Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station (Quynh Luu District) discovered Cao Xuan Thang (55 years old, residing in Phuc Thanh hamlet, Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district) illegally possessing 50 firecrackers and one bundle of firecrackers weighing 2.2 kg. The unit fined the suspect 5 million VND and confiscated the illegal items.

During a patrol, police in Tan Ky district inspected and discovered a man riding a motorbike with license plate 37B-14050, traveling from Do Luong to Tan Ky, carrying 72 large firecrackers weighing 7.5 kg. The suspect identified himself as Tran Van Giang, born in 1996, residing in Giang Son Dong commune (Do Luong), and stated that he was transporting the firecrackers to Tan Ky for sale. Authorities seized the firecrackers, the motorbike, and a mobile phone, and fined Tran Van Giang 2 million VND.
