Arrested 2 people transporting 8,000 synthetic drug pills

At around 6:15 p.m. on March 9, a working group of Moc Chau District Police in coordination with PC47 and PC52 Departments of Son La Provincial Police on duty at Thai Hung village, Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district discovered and caught two subjects red-handed illegally transporting 8,000 synthetic drug pills.

The two arrested subjects are Vang Thi Do (born 1985) and Vang Thi Dua (born 1984) - residing in Phieng Cai village, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district.

Expanding the investigation, the Investigation Police Agency - Son La Provincial Police issued an emergency arrest warrant for Giang Thi Phanh (born 1981, residing in Ta De village, Long Luong commune, Moc Chau district) for illegal drug trafficking.

According to the initial investigation results, Giang Thi Phanh was the one who bought the drugs on the other side of the Vietnam-Laos border, then hired Vang Thi Do and Vang Thi Dua to transport them to Nong Truong town, Moc Chau district.

The case is under investigation and clarification.
