Poetry and music exchange to celebrate March 8

(Baonghean.vn) -At the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, the poetry and music exchange to celebrate March 8 organized by the Women's Club and the Literature and Arts Association attracted a large number of members, writers and artists to participate.

Up to now, the Women's Club with Nghe An Literature and Arts has been established for exactly 13 years, and is considered a "playground" for female writers in the province. 2012 was a year of many victories for female writers: poet Van Anh was admitted to the Vietnam Writers' Association, author Mai Lieu received an award from the National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts. In addition, the Club has coordinated to publish the collection "Nghe An Women's Poetry Volume II", a collection of works by poets who are members of the provincial Literature and Arts Association.

The exchange took place in a warm atmosphere. In addition to the poetry readings by the club members, many honorary members who are poets, musicians, photographers, etc. also participated in the entertainment performances, and many musical works based on the poems of the club members had the opportunity to be performed.

This activity has contributed to encouraging the spirit and writing ability of female writers, giving them more creative motivation.
