Vinh City held military officer training in 2013.

(Baonghean.vn) -In accordance with Plan No. 01/KH-UBND dated January 2, 2013, of the Vinh City People's Committee, this morning, February 19, the Vinh City Military Command organized a training course for 134 military officers from agencies, businesses, schools, and hospitals in the city.

Trainees participating in the training course were equipped with the following content: Regulations on combining socio-economic development with national defense in the development zone; Understanding the situation and tasks of the armed forces of the military region, province, and city in 2013; Resolution of the Vinh City Military Party Committee on leading military and defense tasks in 2013; On coordinating activities between the commune, ward, and town police forces, forest rangers, and other forces in maintaining political security and social order, and forest protection; Practical exercises in developing combat plans to protect agencies and units; Methods for initial handling when discovering bombs, mines, explosive materials, etc.

The training program took place over 5 days, from February 19 to 23, 2013.
