The Ba Na cable car is the only cable car system in the world to hold four Guinness World Records.
Here, a series of records were set, unique in Vietnam, on the summit of Ba Na Mountain. Exactly four years ago, on March 25, 2009, Ba Na Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company put into operation a single-wire cable car system that achieved two Guinness World Records with a length of 5,042m and a difference in elevation between the departure and arrival stations of 1,291m.
Around the same time, four years later, the third cable line came into operation, breaking the record of the two previous lines with a length of 5,771.61m and a difference in elevation between the departure and arrival stations of 1,368.93m. This cable car system was built according to the standards of the World Cable Car Association and is the greatest cable car project in the world, built by the renowned cable car manufacturers Doppelmayr of Austria and CWA of Switzerland.
