(Baonghean.vn) -At 5 PM on March 24th, Nguyen Cao Ky (born in 1997, residing in Hong Lam hamlet, Nghia Hong commune, Nghia Dan district) went to the house of his friend Phung Ngoc Tram (born in 1998, residing in Nghia Son block, Quang Phong ward, Thai Hoa town) while Tram's mother was away.

The subjects are Ky and Tram.

Because both intended to drop out of school and go south, taking advantage of the fact that no one was home, Tram conspired with Ky to steal money from her mother. With Tram's agreement, Ky entered the house and searched all the cupboards, taking a gold necklace made from 1.2 taels of 24k gold. After the theft, at 6:00 AM on March 25th, Tram drove Ky to Hoa Hieu ward to sell the necklace for 46.4 million VND, then went to another gold shop to buy a pair of rings and a mobile phone. When the two met in Nghia Thuan commune to go south, they were arrested by the Thai Hoa town police. The seized items included 26 million VND, a pair of gold rings (4 taels), and a Nokia X2 mobile phone.

The incident is currently under investigation by the police.
