(Baonghean.vn) –The Provincial Police Party Committee has just held the 12th Conference to evaluate the results of leadership and direction in the first quarter, focusing on work in the second quarter of 2013.

The first quarter of 2013 had many important political and social events and major festivals, such as: Lunar New Year, early year festivals, but the situation of national security and social order and safety in Nghe An was always stable, complicated signs related to national security were contained; the investigation and discovery of cases achieved a high rate, especially serious crimes; many major drug rings and cases were eliminated; the work of building a mass movement to protect national security had many positive changes... These results were achieved thanks to the close and comprehensive leadership and direction in all aspects of work of the Party Executive Committee, the leaders of the Provincial Police and the Police of units and localities who were proactive in advising the Party Committees and authorities to direct and coordinate with sectors and organizations to effectively implement policies and solutions to ensure national security and order; Focus on directing the peak period of crime suppression, traffic safety peak period and contents on firecracker prevention, recovery of weapons, explosives, support tools...

In particular, with the attention to directing political and ideological education work associated with promoting the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example and the Campaign "CAND strictly comply with regulations, build a cultural lifestyle to serve the people", Nghe An Police has had many units and individuals awarded at all levels.

In the coming time, the Party Committee will lead the units to focus on grasping and forecasting the situation in a timely manner, thereby doing a good job in basic professional work; focusing on eliminating complicated drug and security hotspots, not allowing criminals to take advantage of the summer and tourist areas to operate and cause insecurity; improving State management activities on security and order, including continuing to reform administrative procedures to meet people's needs, and strengthening the handling of traffic safety violations.
