Hanoi: A daring robbery at a gold shop using pepper spray
A young man asked to buy a wedding ring, then sprayed pepper spray at the shop owner, stole the gold and ran away.
On March 31, Tu Liem District Police (Hanoi) said that the agency is actively investigating a daring gold robbery that occurred in the area.
Before that, at around 9:00 p.m. on March 29, at the gold shop 29 Phung Khoang market, Tu Liem, two strange young men came in to ask to buy wedding rings.
When the gold shop owner, Ms. Ha Thi Dieu (born 1987), showed a ring to a young man, the man sprayed pepper spray in the face, stole the ring and ran away.

Surprised by the young man's behavior, Ms. Dieu shouted, the crowd chased and caught one person and then reported to the police at 113.
According to initial information, the arrested person is Dinh Lenh Son (born 1994, in Xuan Quang, Bao Thang, Lao Cai). The fugitive is identified as Tung (name and address unknown).
Currently, Tu Liem police are actively investigating and arresting the escaped suspect.
