Exhibition of calligraphy of President Ho Chi Minh's poems in Chinese characters.
(Baonghean.vn) -To celebrate the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2013), and to continue the campaign to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, the New Energy Newspaper, in collaboration with the Hanoi Young Calligraphers Association, is organizing an "Exhibition of Calligraphy of Ho Chi Minh's Chinese Poems" and a calligraphy performance of his poems at the Vietnam Petroleum Institute building and the Temple of Literature (Hanoi).
It is known that the poems in Chinese characters by Ho Chi Minh displayed at the Exhibition are taken verbatim from the anthology of Ho Chi Minh's Poetry and Prose (both the Chinese version and the translation) published by the People's Army Publishing House in 2008.

Cultural performances to welcome guests at the exhibition.
The exhibition features the participation of 28 young Vietnamese calligraphers currently active in the Hanoi Young Calligraphers Association; leading Vietnamese researchers of Sino-Vietnamese characters, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Central Propaganda Department, and a number of scholars and central and Hanoi-based media agencies.

Mr. Nguyen Nhu Phong, Editor-in-Chief of New Energy Newspaper and Head of the exhibition organizing committee, said: After the exhibition, all the artworks will be donated to the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House of the Ho Chi Minh Museum and other units within the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. All royalties from the calligraphers during the exhibition will be donated to the New Energy Newspaper's Social Welfare Fund.
