Exhibition of Chinese calligraphy poetry of President Ho Chi Minh
(Baonghean.vn) -Celebrating the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2013), continuing to carry out the Campaign to Study and Follow Ho Chi Minh's Moral Example, New Energy Newspaper in collaboration with the Hanoi Young Calligraphers Association organized the "Exhibition of Chinese Poetry Calligraphy of President Ho Chi Minh" and a performance of writing Uncle Ho's Poetry Calligraphy at the Vietnam Petroleum Institute Building and the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi).
It is known that the Chinese poems of Ho Chi Minh displayed at the Exhibition were taken verbatim from the collection of Ho Chi Minh's Poetry and Literature (both Chinese and translated versions) published by the People's Army Publishing House in 2008.
Art performance to welcome the exhibition
The exhibition has the participation of 28 young Vietnamese calligraphers currently working at the Hanoi Young Calligraphers Association; leading Vietnamese Han Nom researchers, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Central Propaganda Department and a number of scholars and press agencies from the Central and Hanoi.
Delegates view works at the Exhibition
Mr. Nguyen Nhu Phong - Editor-in-Chief of New Energy Newspaper, Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee said: After the exhibition, all works will be donated to the Uncle Ho Memorial House of the Ho Chi Minh Museum and other units in the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. All royalties from the calligraphers during the exhibition days will be put into the Social Security Fund of New Energy Newspaper.
