Regiment 1 - Division 324: Commending typical examples of following Uncle Ho's example

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 4, BB1 Regiment - Division 324 held a conference to honor and commend advanced models in implementing Directive 03-CT/TU of the Politburo "On continuing to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", thereby drawing lessons on leadership, direction and organization of studying from Uncle Ho, spreading the example of "Good people, good deeds" throughout the unit.

Over the years, the Party Committee and the Regiment Commander have deeply recognized the position, meaning and importance of Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example. Immediately after the Politburo issued Directive No. 03 - CT/TW dated May 14, 2011, the Regiment Party Committee has widely deployed it to each Party Committee, Party cell, agency, unit, cadre and soldier in the entire Regiment.

After more than 5 years of implementation, the movement has spread widely, both in breadth and depth. In 2012 alone, from the thrift practice movement, officers and soldiers of that Regiment donated 6,200 kg of rice, allocating more than 4,800 kg of rice to support disadvantaged families and policy beneficiaries in the unit and military areas on holidays and Tet. Promoting the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", the spirit of mutual love, the whole leaves cover the torn leaves, officers and soldiers of the Regiment always actively responded to movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Central Youth Union, especially the movement to support disabled children and victims of Agent Orange with 13,476,000 VND and 21,370,000 VND to upgrade the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel cemetery; Participated in over 100 working days to help families with revolutionary contributions, families with preferential policies, and lonely elderly people with no place to live in the area where the unit was stationed.

Awarding certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example".

In addition, the Regiment's Youth Union launched a model movement "Youth group to win allowances to buy gifts for families" every month, on a voluntary basis, each member of the group contributed 400,000 VND to a common fund; on the fourth week of each month, the unit's leaders and commanders then handed over the fund to 1 member, giving priority to comrades in difficult circumstances; the model: "100 VND House"; the emulation movement "Joining hands to build new countryside", working with the locality to upgrade 5 km of intra-field roads in Hong Son commune; helping with more than 400 working days to repair and consolidate the premises of Giang Son Tay commune People's Committee, Giang Son Dong commune Primary School... Those actions were recognized and highly appreciated by the local Party Committee, government and people, contributing to further embellishing the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people.

At the conference, the Regiment's Emulation and Reward Council awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals with many outstanding achievements in the advanced emulation movement in "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh".
