More than 300 athletes participate in the Provincial Armed Forces National Defense Sports Festival
(Baonghean.vn) -This year's National Defense Sports Festival for the Armed Forces has the participation of 28 teams from agencies, units, and schools in the provincial armed forces, with over 300 athletes who are officers, professional soldiers, defense workers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and militia and self-defense forces selected from agencies and units in the province.
The sports festival took place at Regiment 764, for 2 days, June 5 and 6. Right after the opening ceremony, the 2013 National Defense Sports Festival of the Armed Forces took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere. For athletes of the regular army, participating in the competitions in the following events:4 combined military sports; Strong soldier, K54 shooting lesson 1 advanced, AK shooting lesson 1; 100m run, 3-step jump with feet together, pull-up bar, 3,000m run of strong soldier; 10,000m cross-country run.

Lieutenant Colonel Ha Tan Tien - Deputy Head of the Military Command (Provincial Military Command) awarded flags to the units that won first, second and third prizes in the competition.
After two days of exciting competition, with the spirit of fighting with all their might, the athletes have set many new achievements and new records, contributing to the success of the 2013 National Defense Sports Festival. The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Dao Mat Mixed Battalion; the second prize to the Military Command of Dien Chau and Nghia Dan districts; the third prize to the Military Command of Thanh Chuong, Quy Chau and Do Luong along with 12 team prizes and 12 individual prizes to the groups and individuals with outstanding achievements. At the same time, the athletes with high achievements were selected to participate in the Military Region Sports Festival in the coming time.
