Lao vehicle carrying two leopard carcasses

(Baonghean.vn) -On May 10th, the Nậm Cắn International Border Gate Border Guard Station reported that at the Nậm Cắn International Border Gate Joint Control Station (Kỳ Sơn district), the joint control team of the station, in coordination with the border customs, discovered a vehicle with a Lao license plate carrying two leopard carcasses.

During an inspection of a Lao-registered truck with license plate number 3690, driven by Nguyen Kim Cuong (born in 1984, residing in Dien Thap commune, Dien Chau district) entering Vietnam from Laos, authorities discovered two dead leopards weighing 16 kg inside. The case has been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and processing.
