Border Guard Command holds online meeting with units in the entire force

(Baonghean.vn) -On June 28, the Border Guard Command held an online meeting with all units in the force. Lieutenant General Vo Trong Viet - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Commander of the Border Guard chaired the meeting.

At Nghe An bridgehead, there was the participation of Nghe An Border Guard Command and Ha Tinh Border Guard, chaired by Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van - Provincial Party Committee member, Commander of Nghe An Border Guard.

After listening to the representative of the General Staff and the Border Guard Command report on the activities of the entire Border Guard force in the past time, the units reported on some notable situations in performing the tasks of protecting territorial sovereignty, border security, and sea areas; preventing crimes; relations with neighboring countries; building forces, along with some proposals and recommendations to the Chief and functional agencies of the Border Guard Command.

Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van, Commander of Nghe An Border Guard reported to the Head of the Command some general features of the implementation of tasks in June of the Provincial Border Guard. In particular, focusing on accelerating the progress of marker planting, preparation for the inauguration of algebraic marker 406 and the ceremony to celebrate the completion of marker planting work of the two States on the Vietnam - Laos border at Thanh Thuy border gate, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province on July 9, 2013.

Concluding the meeting, Lieutenant General Vo Trong Viet answered a number of recommendations and proposals from the units. The Border Guard Commander commended the units' good performance in the past time, and frankly pointed out the shortcomings and weaknesses that need to be overcome in the coming time, such as: strengthening the construction of a regular order, minimizing the situation of disciplinary violations and traffic safety violations... At the same time, he assigned the competent agencies to prepare to carry out a number of immediate tasks such as: Building a support fund for infertile families in the entire force (300 families); Building comrade houses for families of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances; Building a "point" model of Border Guard Stations for economic development in Lao Cai and Binh Phuoc Border Guards, thereby expanding to the entire force.
