Company 33 - Ngư Island celebrates its 50th anniversary.

(Baonghean.vn) -On August 10th, Company 33 - Ngư Island held a ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the heroic Ngư Island unit's founding. Attending the ceremony were representatives from the 4th Military Region Command, the Provincial Military Command, the Vinh City People's Committee, and veteran officers who had fought and worked on the island.

Before the ceremony began, the delegations laid wreaths and offered incense in remembrance of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the country's airspace, seas, and islands during the years of resistance against the US for national liberation.

The Provincial Military Command presented a banner bearing the inscription "Heroic Ngư Island Unit - 50 Years of Building, Fighting, and Maturing".

Over 50 years of building, fighting, and maturing, upholding the traditions of the People's Armed Forces, the unit's officers and soldiers have continuously strived, overcome difficulties, maintained revolutionary vigilance, and effectively carried out patrol and guard duties to ensure safety on the island. They provide timely, accurate, confidential, and secure information, and disaster prevention measures are appropriate to the requirements and tasks, closely aligned with the island's geographical location. They have a firm grasp of the situation and effectively handle any potential incidents. They consistently adhere to directives and guidelines from superiors; and effectively combine military training with political and ideological education and disciplinary training. As a result, 100% of officers and soldiers maintain peace of mind and successfully complete their assigned tasks.

Building upon the heroic traditions of Ngư Island, in the coming period, the officers and soldiers of Ngư Island will continue to educate their comrades to enhance their understanding of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, cultivate strong political and moral qualities, steadfastly adhere to the socialist path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, and be ready to accept and excellently fulfill all tasks to contribute to the firm protection of the sovereignty of the homeland's sea and islands.

On this occasion, the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command presented the officers and soldiers of Company 33 of Ngư Island with a banner bearing the inscription "Heroic Ngư Island Unit - 50 years of building, fighting, and maturing".
