(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of August 13th, a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense, led by Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of National Defense - visited and worked at the 324th Division.

Prior to the working session with the Division's commanding officers, the delegation offered incense and flowers at the Memorial House for fallen heroes and visited the Division's Traditional House.

Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc chaired the working session with the 324th Division.

At the Division headquarters, on behalf of the Division's leadership, Colonel Nguyen Van Son, the Division Commander, reported on the results of the tasks performed during the first seven months of 2013. Accordingly, the Division's Party Committee and command led and directed the agencies and units to successfully complete key political tasks, maintain strict combat readiness, improve training quality, closely coordinate with local authorities to thoroughly understand the local situation, contributing to maintaining political security and social order; and ensuring good logistical and technical support for all missions.

During the meeting, Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc commended the Division's achievements, noting its strong upholding of the Division's tradition of being twice awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces. The Deputy Minister requested that the unit promote and boost production to improve living standards; proactively monitor the local, national, and regional situation to provide timely guidance and propaganda to officers and soldiers, contributing to building a strong and exemplary Party Committee, a strong and comprehensive unit, and an absolutely safe area.
