The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 PM on July 19th on Nguyen Xien Street (the section passing through Ben Do Hamlet, Long Binh Ward, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay (40 years old, residing in Long Binh Ward), at that time, bus number 611 on the Di An - Thu Duc route, traveling from Nguyen Xien Bridge towards Hanoi Highway, suddenly lost control, plunged into a fish pond along the roadside, and overturned.

At that time, there were only the driver and the ticket inspector on the bus.

After the accident occurred, the bus driver, Mr. Tran Binh Tan (44 years old, residing in District 9), left the scene.

Reportedly, the bus crashed shortly after dropping off its last three passengers.
Upon receiving the report, the District 9 Traffic Police Team and rescue forces arrived to handle the incident.

By 3:15 PM, the damaged bus had been pulled out of the water.
