(Baonghean) - Helping people build new rural roads, supporting comrades in times of difficulty and illness, or giving "keys" to unlock the door to escaping poverty for policy beneficiary families... these are practical actions that officers and soldiers of the Thai Hoa Town Military Command and the militia and reserve forces have effectively implemented.

Early in the morning, while the Phu Quy region was still asleep, in Hamlet 2, Nghia Tien Commune, nearly 50 soldiers from the Thai Hoa Town Military Command and Warehouse 812 were drenched in sweat. Major Le Anh Van, in charge of propaganda for the Thai Hoa Town Military Command, was actively leveling the road surface with his comrades, preparing the ground for concrete pouring. Not far away, another group of soldiers were mixing concrete with the local people in a lively atmosphere. These were the beautiful images that the female Party Secretary of Hamlet 2, Comrade Hoang Thi Lan, recounted when she took me to visit Hamlet 2, Nghia Tien Commune, where the soldiers were helping the hamlet build rural roads.

As they walked, the Party branch secretary remarked admiringly, "The hamlet had planned to take four days to complete the entire road paving. But with the enthusiastic help of the soldiers, both the military and the people finished very quickly." Comrade Hoang Dinh Cuong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, affirmed, "The soldiers have helped the commune a great deal in the construction of new rural areas. It's not simply about completing concrete roads, but more importantly, about building a strong foundation of public support."

Implementing the "Armed Forces Joining Hands to Build New Rural Areas" movement, officers and soldiers of the Thai Hoa Town Military Command, along with militia and reserve forces, contributed over 1,000 man-days to building rural roads, repairing cultural centers, irrigation canals, cleaning village roads and alleys, and clearing traffic safety corridors... helping the people in communes and wards, especially in the three communes of Nghia Tien, Tay Hieu, and Nghia Thuan. Through this, not only did the locality receive significant assistance, but the officers and soldiers also had the opportunity to further develop themselves. Major Le Anh Van shared: "We consider helping the people build new rural areas as both a duty and a responsibility of each soldier."

Officers and soldiers of the Thai Hoa Town Military Command helped Hamlet 2, Nghia Tien Commune, build rural roads.

Not only is the Thai Hoa Town Military Command at the forefront of helping people build new rural areas and promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's moral example, but it also has many movements with profound social significance. Officers and soldiers have saved on expenses in response to movements such as "Filial piety towards the people," "Saving for oneself to help those in need," and "Comradeship and solidarity"...

Now, wherever we go in Thai Hoa, we hear people recounting their positive impressions of the soldiers of Uncle Ho. This shows that the "path to" the hearts of the people is not far away; it lies in the concrete actions and deeds of the soldiers in their daily lives.
