Gold price falls to 38.50 million VND/ounce.

Compared to yesterday's closing price, gold has decreased by 300,000 VND/ounce. World gold prices fell to 1,411.05 USD/oz.

On the morning of August 29th, domestic gold prices opened lower by 300,000 VND compared to the closing price of the previous afternoon. The current domestic gold price is 38.50 million VND per tael.

Specifically, DOJI Group listed the price of JSC gold in Hanoi at 38.30 – 38.50 million VND/ounce (buying price – selling price).

In Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the buying price of SJC gold at 38.25 million VND/ounce. The selling price was 38.50 million VND/ounce.

The difference between the buying and selling price of gold in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is currently around 200,000 - 250,000 VND/ounce.



On the global market, at the close of trading on September 28th, the spot gold price in the Asian market was $1,417/oz. The December gold futures price was $1,418.8/oz. Currently, the world gold price is at $1,411.05/oz.

According to experts, the slight drop in world gold prices is due to the US dollar index rising 0.5% against other currencies.

According to today's exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is currently equivalent to 36.04 million VND/ounce. Compared to the domestic gold price, the world gold price is 2.46 million VND/ounce lower.
