Que Phong police quickly solved case 813M.

(Baonghean.vn) -The Que Phong District Police have successfully dismantled a drug trafficking ring codenamed 813M, arresting Lang Van Vung and seizing 72.6 grams of heroin.

In early August 2013, through monitoring and intelligence gathering from the grassroots level, the Que Phong District Police discovered an individual in Chau Thon commune engaging in the illegal possession and trafficking of narcotics. In response, the Que Phong District Police leadership quickly established a special investigation case, code-named 813M, to combat this activity.

At approximately 10:20 PM on August 4, 2013, in the Chau Thon market area (Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district), recognizing the opportune moment, the special task force decided to launch an operation. The suspect, Lang Van Vung, born in 1974, residing in Din Danh village, Chau Thon commune, was arrested on the spot along with 72.6 grams of heroin and one mobile phone.



The suspect Lang Van Vung and the seized evidence were apprehended.

During questioning at the investigative agency, suspect Lang Van Vung confessed that he bought the drugs from an unknown Hmong man in a forest in Tri Le commune and then divided them into smaller portions to sell to drug addicts.

The case is currently being investigated further by the Que Phong District Police.
