Que Phong police quickly cracked case 813M

(Baonghean.vn) -Que Phong district police have just successfully broken up a drug case coded 813M, arrested Lang Van Vung, and seized 72.6 grams of heroin.

In early August 2013, through monitoring and understanding from the grassroots, Que Phong District Police detectives discovered a subject in Chau Thon commune who had illegally stored and traded narcotics. Faced with that situation, Que Phong District Police leaders quickly established a special project codenamed 813M to fight against the crime.

At about 22:20, August 4, 2013, in Chau Thon town area (Chau Thon commune - Que Phong), seeing the opportunity, the Task Force decided to attack the case. Subject Lang Van Vung, born in 1974, residing in Dinh Danh village, Chau Thon commune was arrested on the spot with evidence of 72.6 grams of heroin and 1 mobile phone.

At the investigation agency, suspect Lang Van Vung confessed that he bought drugs from a strange Mong man in a forest in Tri Le commune and then divided them into small pieces to sell to addicts.

The case is being further investigated by Que Phong District Police.
