The serious accident occurred at 3:30 PM on July 16th, on National Highway 1A in Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province.

It is known that at the time of the incident, Ms. Hoang Thi Hien (born in 1981, residing in Dien Kim commune, Dien Chau district) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37P8 1330 carrying a gas stove for sale, traveling in the direction of Vinh - Hanoi at km 385+900 in Block 8, Quynh Thien ward, when she was suddenly hit head-on by a motorbike with license plate 37P5 7895 traveling in the opposite direction.

The collision was so powerful that the young man (approximately 25 years old, identity unknown) on the motorcycle 37P5 7895 was thrown a considerable distance and sustained very serious injuries, while Ms. Hien suffered less serious injuries. Both motorcycles were completely destroyed.

Immediately after the accident occurred, local residents took both victims to the hospital for emergency treatment. Traffic police in the town also arrived to handle the traffic congestion and investigate the cause of the accident.
