139 films attend the 18th Vietnam Film Festival

With the slogan: "Vietnamese Cinema - national, humane, creative, integrated", the 18th Vietnam Film Festival has 139 films, more than 1,000 delegates including artists, managers and people working in the film industry nationwide attending, that is the announcement of the Organizing Committee at the press conference held on October 14, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.

Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien emphasized: The Vietnam Film Festival has been held for 17 times. This is an opportunity to praise Vietnamese cinematographic works that are imbued with national identity, rich in humanity, and marked by creativity; to honor cinematographers with outstanding artistic achievements in the past two years; to enhance professionalism in composing, producing and disseminating cinematographic works; to create conditions for cinematographic artists, managers, producers and film distributors to exchange experiences, promote the sustainable development of Vietnamese cinema; to introduce new works to meet the public's demand for cinema enjoyment. We hope that the 18th Vietnam Film Festival will leave a good impression on the public.
