Container truck overturns, two injured.

(Baonghean.vn) -While traveling on National Highway 1A, a container truck swerved, knocked down a row of road markers, and then overturned, injuring two people inside.

The unusual accident occurred at 6:00 AM on August 14th, at kilometer 447 on National Highway 1A, in Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district.

A local resident who witnessed the accident said: “I had just woken up and was getting ready for work when I suddenly heard a loud crash. I opened the door and ran out to see a truck with license plate 29C 21022, carrying a container with license plate 29R 01108, overturned in my yard. Many parts of the vehicle were crushed and severely damaged. Hearing the screams, I called for help and two men (whose identities are unknown) in the driver's cabin were taken to the hospital in time.”

The overturned vehicle was found near a resident's yard.

At the scene, the container truck was traveling in the direction of Hanoi-Vinh. Before overturning, the truck knocked down a series of road markers on the right side of the road before crashing into a resident's yard. Fortunately, a ditch embankment stopped it, causing the truck to overturn close to the edge of the yard.

The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
