Border protection knowledge training for Xieng Khouang border guards

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of September 24, in Cua Lo Town, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An Province opened a border protection training course for 25 trainees who are officers of the Military Command of Xieng Khouang Province (Laos).

Overview of the training class

The training course aims to equip students with knowledge and skills and exchange experiences with the border protection force of Xieng Khouang province. During the course of 1 month, students will learn about the history of the special friendship and tradition between Vietnam and Laos, some common perceptions of national territory and borders, concepts and basic principles of international law on national borders and territories; the treaty on the demarcation of the Vietnam-Laos border; methods of determining national borders, border patrol and use of maps to determine borders, plots and tricks of hostile and reactionary forces opposing Vietnam and Laos, mass mobilization work to protect the border, training in shooting K54 pistols, etc.

This is a practical work, demonstrating the special solidarity between Nghe An province and Xieng Khouang province in particular and the provinces sharing the border in general, working together to protect border sovereignty, build a peaceful, friendly and cooperative border.
