My Tam represents Southeast Asia at MTV Europe Awards

The 2013 MTV EMA Awards have 186 of the world's hottest artists from 51 countries nominated in the Worldwide Act category. In the Southeast Asian region, Vietnamese singer My Tam has surpassed 5 candidates from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand, officially representing the competition in the second round.

In round 2, My Tam will compete with the winner of China - Hong Kong - Taiwan for the chance to become one of the 10 artists to enter the final round. China - Hong Kong is represented by Ly Vu Xuan, while Taiwan's representative artist is Show Luo.

From now until October 31, the audience can vote directly for My Tam to help her pass the next round. On November 1, the name of the artist who wins the Southeast Asia - China - Hong Kong - Taiwan cluster will be announced. In addition to this cluster, 9 artists representing other clusters such as Northern Europe, Central Europe, Japan - Korea, Australia - New Zealand... will also be revealed. They will compete to win votes and the winner will be announced at the award ceremony in the Netherlands.
