VietjetAir opens sale of 25,000 more flight tickets for Tet holiday

VietjetAir said that from November 6, VietjetAir will continue to sell 25,000 flight tickets for the 2014 Lunar New Year, the second round, on all of its routes.

Of the total number of tickets for this period, VietjetAir reserved 125,000 tickets for peak periods (about 20 days before Tet and 20 days after Tet).

(Photo: Provided by VietjetAir)For the flight with the highest demand for tickets, Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi, VietjetAir also reserved more than 60,000 tickets with prices starting from VND 1,030,000/way (excluding taxes and airport fees).

Also during this year's Tet holiday, to best serve passengers' travel needs, VietjetAir has increased the Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang route to 42 round trips/week (equivalent to 7,560 seats).

With the increased number of seats, passengers traveling to and from Da Nang will no longer have to worry about not having enough plane tickets to reunite with their families.

Mr. Desmond Lin, Business Development Director of VietjetAir, said: “To ensure that you get the lowest cost airfare during peak season, passengers should buy tickets early. The further in advance you buy tickets, the cheaper they are. VietjetAir is receiving new aircraft to meet the increased demand for peak season, so the ticket prices will be the most economical for people.”

Previously, the airline also opened sales of 150,000 Lunar New Year tickets in the first phase.

Customers can easily buy tickets by using a computer, tablet or smartphone to access the website www.vietjetair.com, conveniently paying by Credit Card (Visa Card; Master Card) and ATM card registered for online payment of 21 major banks.

Passengers can also buy VietJetAir tickets at ticket offices and authorized agents nationwide.
