(Baonghean.vn) -After a period of investigation and monitoring, at 4:00 p.m. on December 22, 2013, on National Highway 1A, passing through Quan Bau Ward (Vinh City), the Crime Prevention Department of Nghe An Border Guard, Tri Le Border Guard Station coordinated with Nghe An Police to arrest 1 subject and rescue 3 victims on their way to Mong Cai (Quang Ninh) to be sold to China.

The arrested subject is Phang Thi Chieng, born in 1990, permanent residence in Pieng O (Xieng My - Tuong Duong) on ​​the way to take 3 victims: Lo Thi T, born in 1966, Lo Thi N, born in 1983 and Vi Thi T, born in 1987, all 3 are from Cam Muon commune (Que Phong) to Mong Cai, Quang Ninh to sell to China.

Through the investigation, Chieng learned that in 2012, Chieng crossed the border to marry a Chinese man. In November 2013, Chieng returned from China to visit his family with the purpose of finding Vietnamese women to sell for profit. With the 3 women in this case, if they were successfully brought to China, Chieng would have received 100,000 yuan, equivalent to 310 million Vietnamese Dong.

Expanding the investigation of the case, the authorities arrested two more subjects, Luong Thi My, born in 1973 and Vang Thi Bon, born in 1978, both from Cha Lum village (Yen Tinh - Tuong Duong). Currently, the Nghe An Border Guard force is completing the case file and handing it over to the authorities for handling.
