Handing over the house of gratitude to Lieutenant Tran Van Chien

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 24th anniversary of the National Defense Day, on December 20, at Hamlet 17, Hung Thang Commune, Hung Nguyen District, Nghe An Province, Warehouse KX5, the Technical Department of the Military Region held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over the House of Gratitude to the family of Lieutenant CN Tran Van Chien, a Custodian of Warehouse KX5.

The 3-room, 70m2 flat-roofed house was started in September 2013 with a total cost of 220 million VND. Of which, the Ministry of National Defense supported 60 million VND, the paternal and maternal families and relatives helped 155 million VND, officers and employees of Warehouse KX5 directly participated in labor for 75 working days and allocated 5 million VND from the capital fund to support the family of Lieutenant Tran Van Chien.

The Head of the Technical Department, the commander of KX5 Warehouse and local authorities cut the ribbon to inaugurate the gratitude house for Lieutenant Tran Van Chien.

This is a meaningful gift, demonstrating the good tradition of "Mutual love and support", "the rich help the poor" of the Vietnamese people, thereby encouraging the family of Lieutenant Tran Van Chien to soon stabilize their lives and continue to strive to complete the tasks assigned by the unit.
