Training for tour guides

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of November 22, in Vinh City, Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened the 2013 training course on improving tour guide skills.

The training course was attended by many officers from the following units: Tourism Information Center, Management Board of Uncle Ho's Square and Monument, Management Board of Monuments and Scenic Spots, Management Board of Kim Lien Relic Site, Military Region 4 Museum, General Museum, Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum.... and a number of cultural and information offices of districts with typical tourist attractions...

The main content of the training course is: Overview of tour guide profession, process of organizing tour guide activities, specialized tour guide skills, tourist psychology or communication in tourism...

The training course took place on November 22 and 23, 2013. At the end of the training course, lecturers and students participated in a field trip to the Military Region 4 Museum to listen to the tour guide at the instruction point; through that, lecturers and students could exchange and learn practical experiences.
