Busting prostitution ring in the countryside

(Baonghean.vn)-Nghi Loc District Police have just discovered and detained Truong Thi Loan (1977), residing in Tien Phong Hamlet, Nghi Yen Commune, for investigation of prostitution and prostitution brokerage. Two prostitutes named Ha and Mai were also detained by the police.

Truong Thi Loan had a criminal record for drug trafficking, but was pregnant and had her sentence suspended. At home, Loan opened a kiosk selling refreshments, but this was actually where Loan organized prostitution and there were signs that these subjects used drugs there.

Identifying this as a complex location, causing disorder and insecurity, Nghi Loc District Police planned to destroy it. After a period of ambush, one day in late October, the task force decided to raid Loan’s kiosk, restrained the owner, and caught two couples in the act of prostitution. The two prostitutes, named Ha and Mai, reside in the western districts of Nghe An.

After a quick check of the kiosk and the suspects, the police discovered a small package of drugs on Ha’s person. She was a professional prostitute and a severe drug addict.

Initially, Loan confessed that she let prostitutes stay in the kiosk, served customers, and split the money with Ha.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified.
