At Thong Thu Border Guard Station

(Baonghean) - Despite facing many difficulties in work and life because the unit is subject to the relocation of the Hua Na Hydropower Reservoir, officers and soldiers of Thong Thu Border Guard Station always uphold the spirit of solidarity, overcome difficulties, and share responsibility in carrying out assigned political tasks.

Keeping in mind the motto "The station is home, the border is homeland, and the people of all ethnic groups are blood brothers", although the station is a temporary residence, the soldiers have consolidated the system of gardens, trellises, barns, and cages, promoted production to improve living standards, ensuring self-sufficiency in over 90% of green vegetables; 60% of meat and fish for daily meals. In addition, the station also sent cadres to study techniques and experiences in raising geckos in Nam Dinh, implementing an effective economic project on raising commercial geckos to expand the model among the people...
