The workshop created conditions for localities to approach and apply to local practical conditions, gradually expanding to produce safe, quality products, both protecting the environment and ensuring safety for producers, while improving the competitiveness of agricultural products in the region, contributing to the development of sustainable agriculture.

This is also an activity to link and strengthen cooperation between localities in the Mekong Delta region with regions across the country and international organizations, in order to promote potential, promote socio-economy, and improve people's lives.

Many presentations on the value chain of typical products such as fruits, pangasius, large-scale field models, linked fields... were shared by many delegates at the workshop.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, who is implementing a large-scale field model in Can Tho city, participated in the workshop and said that this workshop has a broad content, with many topics, models, assessments and analyses.

“For farmers, participating in a large conference like this will give them the opportunity to see more issues and will help convince them to expand the model in a radical way,” said Mr. Thanh.
