On February 12, in Bac Kan province, the Ministry of Information and Communications coordinated with the People's Committee of Bac Kan province to organize an exhibition of maps and documents "Hoang Sa and Truong Sa belong to Vietnam - Historical evidence".

With an exhibition area of ​​300 square meters at the Provincial Cultural House, the exhibition introduced versions of some Han Nom documents, Vietnamese and French documents issued by Vietnamese feudal states from the 17th to the early 20th centuries establishing Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; introduced a collection of over 100 documents, maps, documentary films, ancient maps of Vietnam, China and some Western countries about Hoang Sa and Truong Sa....

The above activity aims to raise awareness, solidarity and sense of responsibility of the people, especially the youth of Bac Kan province, in protecting and affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos through published historical documents.

On the opening day, the exhibition welcomed nearly 1,000 officers, soldiers and people to visit. The exhibition will be open all day and evening from 7pm to 9pm from February 12 to 19.
