Establishing Nghe An University of Economics

(Baonghean)On January 27, 2014, the Prime Minister issued Decision 205/QD-TTg on the establishment of Nghe An University of Economics based on the upgrading of Nghe An College of Economics and Technology.

This is a public higher education institution, directly under the People's Committee of Nghe An province, with legal personality, its own seal and bank account; operating according to the university charter issued under Decision No. 58/2010/QD-TTg dated September 22, 2010 and Decision No. 64/2013/QD-TTg dated November 11, 2013 of the Prime Minister, which stipulates the conditions and procedures for establishing or permitting the establishment, operation, suspension of operation, merger, division, separation, and dissolution of universities and academies. The Ministry of Education and Training is responsible for checking the quality assurance conditions before allowing the opening of university training programs and student enrollment.
