The former Everton manager was furious after Sunderland were awarded a penalty when Adam Johnson fell to the ground following a collision with Tom Cleverley.MoyesThey argued that the situation was similar to Adnan Januzaj's fall in the Manchester United vs. Tottenham match on January 2nd. In that incident, the referee not only failed to punish the Spurs player but also gave Januzaj a yellow card for simulation.
"My players have received yellow cards for falling down after a challenge like that,"MoyesWhen asked about Johnson's fall in the penalty area, he shared: "We're talking about them (the referees) again, aren't we? At this point, it seems like we're playing against both the opponents and the referees."
"It was terrible, but it's true. We actually started laughing at them (the match officials), that's the problem."
