Online conference introducing the content and meaning of the 2013 Constitution
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 5, the Ministry of Justice held an online conference to introduce and disseminate the content and meaning of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to reporters and propagandists.
Attending and directing the conference were comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister, representatives of central ministries and branches. At Nghe An bridge, comrade Hoang Quoc Hao, Director of the Department of Justice chaired, with the participation of propagandists and reporters from provincial departments and branches.

At the Conference, propagandists and reporters listened to Mr. Hoang The Lien, Deputy Minister of Justice, introduce the purpose, meaning and basic content of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. With a structure of 11 chapters and 120 articles, 1 chapter and 27 articles less than the 1992 Constitution, the 2013 Constitution has many new points in both content and constitutional techniques, deeply reflecting the synchronous and comprehensive renovation of the country; more clearly and fully demonstrating the democratic and progressive nature of our State and regime in the transitional period to socialism, on building a socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam of the people, by the people, for the people led by the Party, human rights, basic rights and obligations of citizens; clearly, correctly, fully and more generally regulate the economy, society, culture, education, science, technology and environment, national defense, state apparatus organization, effectiveness and process of amending the Constitution.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested that reporters and propagandists need to fully and comprehensively understand the content and meaning of the 2013 Constitution. Accordingly, leaders of ministries, branches, government agencies, People's Councils, and People's Committees of provinces and cities need to promptly direct and create conditions for reporters and propagandists to carry out the task of introducing the Constitution, ensuring its widespread effectiveness and bringing the Constitution into real life.
