Quynh Lap organizes the Ha Temple festival.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 14th (corresponding to the 15th day of the 3rd lunar month), Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town, solemnly organized the 2014 Ha Temple Festival. The festival attracted a large number of people from within and outside the locality.

The Lower Temple is built on the banks of the Trap Gate in Dong Tam hamlet, Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town. The temple is dedicated to Uy Vuong Ly Nhat Quang, a hero who contributed to the founding and development of the village. In addition, the temple also worships the Four Holy Mothers and Sat Hai Dai Vuong Hoang Ta Thon. Every year, on the 14th and 15th of the third lunar month, local people eagerly participate in the Lower Temple festival, which consists of two parts: the Ceremony and the Festival. Particularly noteworthy is the lively boat race, attracting participation from teams throughout the commune.

From early morning, people come to Ha Temple to light incense for the deities, praying for favorable weather, calm seas, and peaceful skies.
